2021 Hyundai Kona Features and Options

In all, there are five trims of the 2021 Hyundai Kona. That lineup begins with the SE and goes up from there with the SEL, SEL Plus, Limited, and the top Unlimited trim. Astoundingly, the Kona has a starting MSRP of just $20,400, and even if you fly up to the top Unlimited trim, the MSRP is still an affordable $28,050.

Under the hood, the SE, SEL, and SEL Plus employ a 2.0-liter powerplant that can output up to 147 horsepower. That’s a solid display of power, but if you want a little boost, you can upgrade with the Limited and the Unlimited trims which both utilize a 1.6-liter turbo that can output an impressive 175 horsepower. These models also employ a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. This style of transmission was designed for racecars and is very fast and efficient.

Speaking of efficiency, the 4-cylinder engine in the SE, SEL, and SEL Plus will give you 27-city and 33-highway mpg in front-wheel drive. With an efficient turbo and the dual-clutch transmission, you can get up to 28-city and 32-highway mpg with the Limited and the Unlimited trims of the Kona in front-wheel drive.

The Kona offers up a ton of features too. You get standard Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, driver attention warning system, forward collision avoidance assist, and lane-keep assist.
