2023 Backpack Giveaway

Every year, kids are expected to head to school so that they can learn, but not every family is able to afford a backpack for their child. Recently, our dealership was able to partner with Kids Youth Mentorship Services so that we could help distribute 1,200 backpacks to those in need. At Premier Hyundai of Moreno Valley, we’ve been part of the community for quite some time, so we’re excited to look for additional ways that we can give back.

Why Premier Hyundai Chose Backpacks For Their Giveaway

If kids are going to hit the books, they’re going to need a way to carry them around. Not every family is fortunate enough to be able to afford backpacks, but at Premier Hyundai of Moreno Valley, we believe that every child deserves a shot at school. This is why we were so adamant about participating in this event in the first place. A backpack might not seem like much, but to a new student, it can mean everything.

Reaching Out to the Community of Moreno Valley

While the main point of this event was to provide students with backpacks, this wasn’t the only thing going on at the mall. Multiple vendors were offering information and new resources to these students. We know the question, “What do I want to be when I grow up?” is one of the hardest ones to answer, but students were able to gain information on a variety of different fields so that they could form goals to chase after.
